Island Getaway!

At the end of July we headed to the islands for a weekend getaway with our friends, Calvin and Anna. 

The girls had a great time being pampered with a massage and some delicious food. 

And being escorted to the islands we wanted to go to. 

The boys got in some fishing and had most of their success crabbing.

We came prepared with our pot and propane so they could cook up the crab when they brought it in.

Our good friends had their 2nd little girl 3 weeks ago. These pictures were taken at about 7 days old. 

I made the cocoon and hat for her mama and had to get some pictures of her to use for my very small

as orders come business, Stitch in Time. I love making the new creations and getting to see the babies in the pictures. 

Fair Time

 I took the kids to our local fair in August. I love the picture above. Grace loves ALL baby animals!

They had lots of fun.

 The Baby pigs were the highlight for the kids. 

There were two litters born the week of the fair.

They were so cute.

 We got to bottle feed some calves.
