New Links

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have added links to our Retail website (as per my mom's request). There are two links. One is for the US Retail Site and one is for our Canadian Site. So if you are going to use the links to access our web page be sure you are clicking on the right one. I will hopefully have some adorable photos to post sometime Sunday or Monday.

Not sure when. I have some sewing to get done this weekend too!!

I am needing to do a new post but there is currently nothing new to discuss. I have Christmas outfits picked and am lining up a time with my brother in law Ben to do some family photos. We have not had a family picture since it was just the four of us. We are indeed long overdue!! Grace is still putting herself to sleep and sleeping 6 hours in her first stretch, three after that and doesn't like to get up before 9!

I am trying to build our internet retail business and since I do not consider myself to be a sales person this is proving to be difficult. I am up for the challenge though!! We will be a part of the Christmas in November that is being held at the Hampton Inn in Bellingham. November 22 from 2-5.

If any of my blog readers want to know how I can help save them time and money let me know. I can tell you about some of our products and get you samples. We just launched a new cleaning line called Legacy of Clean.

She did it...

and has done it before but this is quite impressive. I used to have to nurse Grace to sleep, make sure she was in a deep sleep and then lay her down for the night. This would be repeated after every feeding. This week I have been laying her down, awake, at 9 and she has been putting herself to sleep. LOVE IT!!!! She has been sleeping until 3 at least and then up every three hours after that!!!

Last night I put her down at 9 and she didn't wake until 5! She ate and was up for about an hour and then went back to sleep. It is 9:30 and she is still sleeping. I feel so rested. I got a total of 10 hours of sleep. 7 before the first feeding and then I went back to sleep and the boys didn't wake until 9!!!! I couldn't believe. I will hopefully be posting pics later today of Grace with her oley blankie. The a blankie that my sister has lovingly and painstakingly made for each of my kiddos. Micheal's was loved to pieces, had to have a second one made and he loved that to pieces. Casey's was loved to death as well and eventually had to be taken away in hopes that he would stop sucking his thumb. Peyton has kept his in the best condition. I think I figured out how to keep them so nice after the first two. Grace's is beautiful and Nicole did a wonderful job.

I've got cleaning to do today to get ready for the babysitter that is coming tonight. Brian will be home tomorrow and I get a night off before he gets back. Dinner at Red Robin and then off to pick up Grace's Christmas dress in Burlington!!

I am feeling much better. Just a little cough. Grace is the same. She has a slight cough but other than that she is back to her normal self. She even put herself to sleep in her crib last night. It was so exciting!!! Hopefully this trend will continue :o)

We are waiting for the boys to return home from their weekend with Grandma Cindy. She was nice enough to take them all weekend since I wasn't feeling well. I am sure they had a blast and probably don't want to come home. Michael has homework he needs to do. He will be going on his first field trip Friday.

I just learned that their is boy picking on Michael on the bus. He told Grandma Cindy, not me. So, I asked the neighbor girls about it. Sure enough they have two "bad" kids on the bus. I will be talking to the bus drivers about this tomorrow.

-in other news I am feeling much better and grace doesn't have a fever. She is sitting at a pretty. 98.6. :0)

The Christmas Bonnett

Grace wanted to show off her Christmas bonnett

I was wrong!!

I thought we had done it. That no one else would get sick. Michael was able to go to school yesterday, Casey was better and all Peyton has left is a cough.

Boy, was I wrong. I woke up yesterday with a sore back and today my whole body aches. My temp is only 99.1. I decided to keep an eye on Grace's temp since I was sick and can't exactly go the whole day without tending to her needs. She is at 100.5 and is to be seen by the doctor today at 2:30. When I had called about the boys I was told to call if she hit 100.3 since she was so young. She didn't sleep well last night and is waking only to eat today so I can tell she is isn't feeling 100%.

I am getting some smiles. Hopefully all is well. Cindy took Michael and Casey for me today and tomorrow. So it is just Peyt, Grace and me.


Hopefully this goes away soon!!

Two months tomorrow!

Well, eight weeks!

It took 4 hours to get his temp down from 105 last night. He has been sitting steady at 101 w/o medicine. The Dr. wanted to prescribe Tamiflu but I went against it. It has some horrible side effects!!

We have been hit

By flu like symptoms. Michael had chills and a low grade fever yesterday. Today we were up at 105 and Tylenol wasn't getting it down. After the nurse called back she suggested ibuprofen. Within a. Hour he was done to 103.5 and is now at 102. He has spent most of the day sleeping. Hoping that it doesn't spread to the rest of the family. Waiting for the doctor to call in the morning and will see what he suggests. Since we have grace in the house she falls into the high risk group.

Will letnyou know what the doctor says in the morning!

Growing Girl

I make no promises but will try to get some photos up. Especially since I need to try to get a good group shot!!

Anyways, took Ms. Grace to our last appointment with the midwife. Have to say it was bittersweet because it IS our last!!

Ms. Grace weighed exactly 14.1 pounds. Exactly Four pounds more than she did at birth, exactly 6 weeks ago!!

She is getting enough to eat, no question about that.

Two month check with the pediatrician on Oct 20.
