Happy Birthday CasMan

These pictures are backwards from what I wanted, oh well. I find it hard to believe that is has been 4 years since we welcomed this little boy into our family. My how the time flies.
Casey is the clown in our family. He has a smile on his face and knows how to make you laugh. He loves to play with his Daddy and his brothers. Isn't to excited about the new sibling growing in Mommy's belly, he asked me to grow a puppy :o)
We love you Casey Leonard!!
HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY!

What a Wonderful Christmas

We had a great day yesterday. The boys loved their gifts. Michael got a Camera, Casey got a leapster and Peyton got a little people's Noahs Ark (from us). Auntie and Uncle Mark Isa and Kai got Michael and Casey a cup filled with $10 (for their vacations) and Peyton got a pretty cool book. Ben and Betsy got the boys a book to share. Grandma Cindy gave Peyton a pull toy and the big boys a racing track. Mom and Dad did pretty good too. I got 2 cartridges for my Cricket machine and Brian got me a Kitchenaid Proffesional 600. I love it. Daddy got lots of stuff for hunting and training his new duck dog. He should be all set.

Photos!! Done by Uncle Ben

It's nice having someone in the family that has all the fun equipment to take some really cool pics of the kids. Uncole Ben was able to get us into the Lynden Fire Department. Then we went across the street from his house and got the rest of the awesome pictures.
This one of Peyton is one of my favorites.

Auntie, Uncle Brian???

I hear this multiple times throughout the day. I find it kind of funny actually. When Isa first came home, she wanted nothing to do with Uncle Brian. I think she gave him his first hug at about 10months of age (she came home at 6or 7months). He didn't get anymore after that. Now, she runs happily into his arms. She loves hugs from her Uncle Brian and always wants to know where he is. Sadly, he doesn't get home until after she leaves for the day.

Casey with Grandpa Cal
Taken feb of 05.
I love this picture, it is a classic Casey. Hard to believe that even at such a young age he was a goofball. I love this little kid and can't believe that in 19 days he will be 4. Scratch that, in 19 days I will have 2 kids that are 4 and they aren't twins.

I had this picture in my last post and then decided that I should blur out the "pee thing"
So here is the big boy sitting on the potty. He walks around the living room and periodically goes
and sits on the potty. He kept saying "CHEESE" as I was taking this picture
Posted by Picasa

Look at these two

First thing is first. Peyton has been showing quite an interest in the potty. If I go into the bathroom he follows and sits on the little potty. He has even been holding his pee (I think) as he is soaking through his diaper a couple of times a day. So this afternoon he gets to run around naked.
Peyton is fascinated with his "pee thing" (that's what Casey calls them)

Kai fell asleep in the excersaucer. I couldn't believe and took a picture before moving him to the swing. He is still sleeping peacefully.

Peyt's Update

Peyton had a Dr. appt this morning and he did great. As I figured he is growing just fine. Weighed in at 26lbs 13oz and is 33in. He is just under 75% for both. He also got 4 shots today and we go back to the Dr. in a month for his second dose of the flue vaccine. I'll try to post pics later.

Isn't she cute...

We had a slight accident today and the little dear was in need of a change. Nicole does a great job of keeping me stocked with clothes for the little Ms. but I have clothes stock piled in my closet (you know, in case I ever have a girl or for my nieces for gifts). Every once in awhile I will pull them out and use them on the little ms. I got this outfit at Carters for 6 bucks (minus the babylegs, those are Peyt's). Nicole, I need this outfit back, especially the babylegs, they are my favorite.

I'm Thankful For...

my husband
my three wonderful boys
the job that my husband has
a roof over our heads and food that we can put on our table
our extended family
the work that I am able to do from home
getting to watch my niece and nephew
gas prices dropping below $1.75 ;o)

Most of all I am thankful that Jesus paid the price for my sins. Thanksgiving (in my opinion) is a wonderful way to lead into the Christmas Season.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

AT&T Update :o)

Well, when I called their customer service center, a nice and calm man answerered the phone. I didn't give him much of a chance to say anything because I wanted him to know what had a happened and what I expected.

1) I want to know who cancelled my husband's cell phone
answer: it was cancelled at the store where you bought. I replied with, "They said they didn't know what happened and that it was a computer thing." He apologized about 5 times.

2) reactivate it
DONE!!!!!

3) I want a decent credit applied to my account.
I am going to credit your account $38.50 (half of this months bill). 5 more apologies.

I was happy that he was able to take care of it so quickly. I also told him that it wouldn't have been that big of a deal if the people at the store were able to tell me who did it and why and been able to reactivate my phone instead of working all weekend. Especially since it is Brian's work phone and someone from work was trying to get a hold of him today. I know because I answered his phone this afternoon. At least it is over. This is the only issue I have ever had with AT&T and I don't expect it to happen again. We like them because of their rollover (we currently have 2500 unused minutes) and I expect us to never have to pay an outrageous bill because we go over in minutes. However, if this happens again I will be terminating my contract and expecting them to pay the early cancellation fee.

Ugh

Brian came home from work yesterday and told me his phone needed to be taken into AT&T because it wasn't working. After dinner I headed in. The guy got on his computer did his thing and said, "that number has been canceled."
What???????????
I didn't do it. My husband didn't do it. So who did it?? Guess what, they couldn't tell me how one of the lines on our account got canceled. And, they couldn't do anything to help me. Nothing. I have to wait until Monday to call customer service. I thought that was what the people in the store were for. UGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!! Let's hope they offer to credit my account a pretty penny because this is one very very unhappy customer.

A few posts in one

Just had to throw in a picture of Peyt and his toofer grin. He has 6 teeth and one glorified blood blister. I noticed a black spot on his gum the other day and called the dentist. They told me to bring him in (luckily Nicole had the day off, I only had my kids) just make sure it wasn't something bad. Peyton enjoyed playing in the waiting room. He has been to the dentist office before but only to go for his brothers appointments. As soon as they called his name he started screaming. And continued to do so until we left. The dentist took one look and said, "He has a glorified blood blister." It should go away when the molar sitting behind it, that caused this mess to begin with, breaks though. I just need to watch it and make sure it doesn't get white edges and start looking infected.

We were talking about Mama's Birthday

Kai Kai. The chubby little man.

She takes good care of her little brother.

I've been meaning to post this for a week. Brian went out duck hunting one morning and brought home these guys. Peyton was thrilled and wanted to pet and play with them. His new favorite animal is a duck. Daddy cleaned them up and cooked them up. Casey wasn't to sure about the duck but ate it (no seconds for him). Peyton liked it. Michael couldn't stay away from it. Kept asking Daddy for more and ate just about all of it. Daddy came home Sunday from duck hunting and Michael asked Daddy if brought home duck for dinner. Sadly, Daddy didn't get anything. Maybe next time.

Happy Birthday Auntie Oley

We love you Auntie!!

out of the mouth of Cas

Heard from the back of my van. Not harm is intended. Remember he is only 3 (almost 4)

Casey: mommy Isa is black.

Me: Yes, she is.

Casey: I want to be black.

Me: Sorry Cas, you are white.

Casey: No, I am black like Isa. :o)

Such a silly little boy.

This is a classic Casey. Such a goofball. He was so PROUD of his new cowboy hat.
We had just started taking the boys to ride horses on Wednesday nights.
Casey was having a blast and wanted a cowboy hat, so we got him one.

New Friends

Last night we went to Joe's to look for some duck decoys for Daddy. We found a box of 12 for a decent price and got them. Peyton loves the ducks. He cried when we took them away so that he could go to bed. Pouty lip and everything. It was hilarious. I did manage to capture some photos of Peyton with his new friends and a short video. I hope you all enjoy.

Here is the video of Peyton. He is saying Quack, and buh buh (bye bye). I tried for the hello but he got distracted by Daddy's duck call.

Oh Me Oh My

I must say that I am not happy with the outcome of the recent election but it is what it is. Even though Obama got the electoral votes it was somewhat reassuring to see that in the national poll it was fairly close. Obama just won all the states he needed to. I found it frustrating that they were calling the states when only one percent of the votes were in at the time.
I am hoping that the AP is wrong in the Governors Race for Washington. They are saying that Gregoire beat Rossi and only 55% of the votes are in. I don't believe it. How do they know that the majority of the rest of the votes aren't for Rossi. It isn't like Gregoire has a 20% + lead on Rossi. I don't think WA can handle 4 more years with her in office. I've said what I needed to and will now leave it be.

The things he says

Peyton is becoming quite vocal these days. He has added a few sounds/words to his vocabulary and it is so much fun to get him to say them. While we were Trick or Treating he was trying so hard to say trick or treat. I would say "Trick or Treat" and he would say "ick eat" it was cute.
dada, mama, sho (shoes), choo choo, woof, meow, shhh shhh (with finger at mouth to hush us all) He is signing more, eat and help. He is growing up so quickly.

Playing in the Rain

Isa doing her best to work a bike that is way to big for her.
Peyton is picking his nose. He is saying SHH!! SHH!!

Casey had a blast

Michael on his big boy bike.

Luckily it was just sprinkling. I had to get the kids out to burn off some energy and the house is just to hot. Our fireplace does it's job well. It only has one tiny log in it and I am ready to open windows. I will just remember how low the electric bill will be because of it.

Hopper Badge

Last night at Awana's the boys received their first badge. They were both so excited. It was the hopper badge and they got it for memorizing their verses. They have 6 verses memorized.
So proud.

Do you think this kid is happy???

Daddy goes hunting

Daddy getting ready for the hunt, now all he needs is a deer.
Doesn't he look happy.
The tent Daddy slept in
The view from the hike
There were ten people in the camp. Only one person got something and it wasn't even a deer. The only catch of the week was this bear. Isn't he cute???
So Brian spent the last 9 days hunting near Twisp, WA. Not the best conditions for opening week. It was a full moon all week and they suspect that the deer spent most of the night eating. The saw hundreds of deer but not any that were legal to shot. They had to be at least 3 point. Even though he didn't get anything I think he had a great time of relaxation. The boys were thrilled to see him on Saturday. Brian brought them home an antler that had fallen off and it is now displayed on top of my entertainment center. Sunday Brian and I snuck off for nice dinner at CJ's Beachhouse. If you are in the area and looking for a good steak dinner I recommend them. They are located out in Blaine. Prices run the same as Outback. Great service and they have cheaper dinner baskets that come with just fries. We went because we sat through a timeshare thing with Homestead. They gave a $50 GC to any CJs restraunt and a $50 GC to Fred Meyer. Well worth my lost hour. We told the guy at the very beginning that we weren't going to buy in and there was nothing he could do to convince us. Not like we had 22k sitting in the bank anyways. If we were wealthy we both decided on the drive home that is was something we were interested in. That is enough for now. Back to the kiddos I go.
