Playing in the Rain

Isa doing her best to work a bike that is way to big for her.
Peyton is picking his nose. He is saying SHH!! SHH!!

Casey had a blast

Michael on his big boy bike.

Luckily it was just sprinkling. I had to get the kids out to burn off some energy and the house is just to hot. Our fireplace does it's job well. It only has one tiny log in it and I am ready to open windows. I will just remember how low the electric bill will be because of it.

Hopper Badge

Last night at Awana's the boys received their first badge. They were both so excited. It was the hopper badge and they got it for memorizing their verses. They have 6 verses memorized.
So proud.

Do you think this kid is happy???

Daddy goes hunting

Daddy getting ready for the hunt, now all he needs is a deer.
Doesn't he look happy.
The tent Daddy slept in
The view from the hike
There were ten people in the camp. Only one person got something and it wasn't even a deer. The only catch of the week was this bear. Isn't he cute???
So Brian spent the last 9 days hunting near Twisp, WA. Not the best conditions for opening week. It was a full moon all week and they suspect that the deer spent most of the night eating. The saw hundreds of deer but not any that were legal to shot. They had to be at least 3 point. Even though he didn't get anything I think he had a great time of relaxation. The boys were thrilled to see him on Saturday. Brian brought them home an antler that had fallen off and it is now displayed on top of my entertainment center. Sunday Brian and I snuck off for nice dinner at CJ's Beachhouse. If you are in the area and looking for a good steak dinner I recommend them. They are located out in Blaine. Prices run the same as Outback. Great service and they have cheaper dinner baskets that come with just fries. We went because we sat through a timeshare thing with Homestead. They gave a $50 GC to any CJs restraunt and a $50 GC to Fred Meyer. Well worth my lost hour. We told the guy at the very beginning that we weren't going to buy in and there was nothing he could do to convince us. Not like we had 22k sitting in the bank anyways. If we were wealthy we both decided on the drive home that is was something we were interested in. That is enough for now. Back to the kiddos I go.

Bad end to a Good Day

I had all the boys in bed and was sitting watching some tv and trying to relax. Next thing I know I am itching like crazy. My first instinct is to scratch. Well, the itching gets worse. I decided to stop scratching and see what is going on. I find large raised bumps all over my body and they are spreading. I can't believe it. I have three kids in the house and no one else home. I also have no idea what is going on. So, I called my mother in law. She tells me to get in the shower in case something on my clothes caused all this and to call her back she was going to look through her self care books. The conclusion we came to is that I have hives. I hope that is all it is. I took some benedryl for the itching and am going to try to go to sleep. I can't believe this is happening. It couldn't have waited until Brian gets home. UGGGGHHHHH!!!!!! I am frustrated because I have no idea what caused it.

Shopping Day

I had a wonderful day today. Although I ended up taking Peyton with me, it was still a good day. I didn't get much. Had to watch the budget as Brian is out hunting and needed lots of gear to get ready for the first time. But here are my finds for the day.
I think all of it ended up being for Peyton. They just didn't have bargains on things I liked for Michael and Casey.
First up is two pairs of stride rites for the price of one at the online store. This is a great deal.
I found this adorable winter hat for Peyton.
Couldn't pass up this cute dog outfit. Especially since I know Kai will be able to wear it.
I am a sucker for little boys in sweater vests and never pass one up for $6. I looked for matching ones for Michael and Casey but came up emptyhanded.

I couldn't believe it

On Wednesday I filled up the van (Costco Gas) for 3.07. I thought that was a great price. Last night I put $40 in the Expedition just so there would be some gas in it (Fred Meyer) 3.09 after 0.10 discount.Today I filled up the Kia for my shopping day at the outlets tomorrow (Costco Gas) and guess how much I paid. Don't worry I'll wait for you.....

Any guessess.........

You won't believe it.......

$2.99

I couldn't believe it. We are under $3 for the first time in a long time. I was thrilled. Just wished that I had waited to put gas in all the cars until today. Oh well, at least two cars have a full tank and one is almost there.

Daddy are you going to have a great time hunting???

Wishing Daddy the best of luck and hoping he comes with one of these
and maybe even one of these

Now to explain the title of the post
That was the first thing Casey said to Daddy after he finished packing up last night. Followed quickly by are you taking me to lunch when you are all done hunting.
Brian left bright and early. Hoping he doesn't catch the cold I came down with and that he stays nice and warm.

splashing away.
our dogs (kona the german shepard, daisy the rottie) thought this kid was crazy. They stood back because Brian had the hose on, they don't like the water :o)

Look What He Can Do!!!!!!!!!!

That's right. He can now climb onto our coffee table. Although I didn't get the full affect that Brian got the other night. He was actually standing and laughing (and dancing) on the coffee table. Peyton just wanted to let me know that he can do it.
Getting all set to push himself onto the table. He really wants those books that he isn't supposed to have.
Peyton is just growing to quickly. I wish he would slow down a little. He is the calmest one we have had. Does what you ask (usually on the first time), laughs and smiles so easily. I just wish he would slow down.
