Michael's First Day of First Grade

Scrunchy Nose Face

I have been trying to get this face on camera for weeks.
She really only makes it if someone has some food she wants.
It is usually accompanied by some heavy, huffy breathing.

She is such a silly little girl.

Grace's Room

I tried to tune it enough in Picasa to get the right color purple but this will have to do.

This is the hair clip keeper I made.

Some pretty artwork that was given to us by friends.
Her mom had painted them for their daughter's (Grace, yep their daughter has the same name)
nursery and she wasn't using them anymore.

The pillow were made for the other Grace's room as well. We actually got an entire crib set that matches and was hand made. This is her dolly corner.

Sockeye

Last week we headed up to go camping at Baker Lake for a night.
They opened it up to Sockeye this year and after hearing the bite was still on Brian wanted to try his luck. We ended up with 5 sockeye.
Michael reeled in his first salmon with no help from dad.
He made sure to let Brian know how big of a fish it was the entire time.
