I made the mistake of telling Michael and Casey that Grandma Rutter was coming up in a couple of days. They have been talking about it all day. So here is a video for Grandma Rutter (they miss Grandpa Rutter too). Note that as Casey is talking to the camera he is informing me that he can not see them.

Just For Uncle Mark
I came across this picture today as I was looking for pictures to post. I think that my brother-in-law will just love remembering this day. Poor Michael just doesn't know what to think about this person riding his tractor. Mark is just a kid at heart and loves to play with the boys. They really did enjoy watching Uncle Mark ride around on their tractor. They also liked watching him try to get up .
Growing up
Last Thursday Peyton turned eight months old. Hard to believe that much time has passed already. He certainly is growing up. Seems like only yesterday mommy and daddy were having to protect him from his brothers. Now he can hold his own. Thanks to the fact that Michael and Casey do not like to be slobbered all over.
Aren't sleeping babies precious??
Eight months

Movie Monday
Peek-a-boo is Peyton's favorite game right now. Especially if it is being played with the much adored oley blanket. Just to let you know. That is Casey echoing me in the background.

Flashback Friday
I am going to use Friday's to post a favorite picture that I have come across again. This has got to be one of my favorite pictures of my firstborn, Michael. His is about six months old in this picture. He had figured out how to put the pacifier back into his mouth and was so proud that he had accomplished his task. The smile hiding behind the pacifier says it all. Hard to believe that this little guy is going to be 4 in February. Talking all the time and counting up to 13

E-L-M-O
This has got to be one of my all time favorite videos. Michael had gotten this elmo toy from Grandma and Grandpa Bender 3 years ago. Casey is the one in the video and he loves it. They haven't played with it for awhile. But I remember when we had to hide it so the wouldn't play with it.
Hunt for the Perfect Tree
We had a great Christmas this year. One of the fun new traditions that we started was going up to the mountain to get our Christmas tree (daddy hates bushy trees). I personally like the traditional Douglas tree as it will hold all of my ornaments.

Dentist
Oh how I love to go to the dentist. I can understand why Casey hates it so much. He clamps his mouth shut and does not want to open it for them. He does like to ride the chair that moves up and down. What a boy. Michael on the other hand goes into the room all by himself, sits in the chair. Let them count, clean and rinse his mouth. He will even let them floss his teeth. I am quite impressed. They were going to try x-rays on Michael but decided to wait until his next check-up in six months. Wonder what Peyton will be like. Both the boys really enjoy coming out of there with new sunglasses.
Peyton is cruising all over the place. This is where I found him the other day. What a little stinker.

Here I Go....
Since everyone else in my family is posting I thought I should give it a try. I am mommy to three beautiful boys. Michael, Casey, Peyton. They keep me on my toes. But I enjoy every minute with them. This was taken in June, a week after baby Peyton was born. He is a mellow and very happy baby. He loves to go with the flow. Casey just turned 3, he is very independent and loves to laugh. Michael, soon to be 4, is my serious little man. He thinks before he leaps.
