What A Character

Casey told us today (as he put on the green pumpkin bucket) that he was a seahawk now that he had his helmet on. Then he began to ride around the house on his stick horse. Not quite sure what being a seahawk has to do with riding a horse but he had fun.

Michael insisted that I take this picture of him, with his animals. Can't leave him out of the fun.

Road Rashes

Poor Casey has been quite accident prone lately. Yesterday while walking he tripped over his own feet and it resulted in this...
A couple days ago he fell and banged up his chin. Resulting in this lovely look...

Luckily the tears don't last to long with this little boy.

Peyton 9 months

Here are Peyton's nine month pictures. He is growing up so fast and has a wonderful smile. My other favorite part is that his red hair seems to be hanging around. It is adorable. Michael was a big help getting these pictures taken. He was shaking toys for Peyton to look at.

Brother

I took these the other day when I caught Casey trying to show Peyton how to crawl. The were having such a good time. Casey couldn't stop laughing.

High Calorie and Loving It

Peyton sure has been enjoying all of the new foods he has gotten to have over the last week. He loves his avocado (Michael and Casey do not). Refried beans with melted cheese are a favorite. And mommy was able to find some whole milk yogurt for a decent price (it's organic too) More affordable then those baby ones they sell at the store. He is doesn't gain weight on this kind of a diet though I will be amazed. He is also ready to get moving, forward that is. We have mastered scooting backwards but seem to get stuck at the coffee table. One leg on each side of a coffee table led doesn't help.

Stuck!

Getting Ready to go for it

Whoops! But I still have my toy

It was beautiful day for mid February.

What A Day

I was able to get a lot of scrapbooking done today. Thank to our church and one of their two yearly crops. Peyton got to spend the day with me, while Michael and Casey helped Daddy work on his new project, the truck. Peyton was very well behaved and loved all the attention from the ladies. It is a good thing that he is such a people watcher. Here are some pictures from this evening. He is trying to get all of his tummy time in for the day.

What a smile :o)

stuck under the coffee table, but loving the camera

I just love the look in this one. It is so cute.

Doctor Update

We are finally back online and I will update quickly as I need to get going somewhere. According to Doctor, Peyton is 17lbs 3 oz and has been in the 17lb range for four months. He has been put on a high calorie diet and is going to be taking iron supplements for 30 days. After which we will go in for blood work to check his iron levels again. Thinking anemic but doctor said his hands and nails are nice and pink so he isn't sure.

My little Peyton

Well, I had a WIC appointment for Peyton today because his weight gain had slowed down in December. Didn't alarm me then because he had started to scoot and move a lot more. Of course he would be burning more calories. After two months he has dropped a full pound. If you know anything about my other boys they were always 90th + percentile in everything. Peyton was 9 lbs 11.5 oz at birth (95th percentile). Today he weighed in at 16 lbs 4 oz and is in the 10th percentile. So, tomorrow we will be going into our doctor around 2:45 to see what he says. I have never had a child so small. No wonder I can still pack him and my back and arms don't hurt. And if you have seen this kid eat you would never suspect that he was losing weight. UGH... I just don't know what to do.

I just love this picture. Taken at five months Peyton fell over because Michael was making him laugh.

Help me out

My wonderful model. Won't his daddy be so proud.
I need your guys help. So, those of you with kids (girls in particular) is this something that you would purchase for your kids or as a gift for someone? If so, how much would you be willing to spend. Also, is the nursing cover something you would purchase? Again, if so, how much would you be willing to spend. I was just wondering. I have been having fun making these and have thought about trying to sell some if their was an interest. I don't have girls, so I don't know. Although Michael really enjoyed it for the brief minute he had it on. :o)

My Sweet Boys

What sweet boys I have. We went grocery shopping yesterday and as soon as you walk into Trader Joe's the first thing you see are flowers. My thoughtful boys told me that they wanted to get me flowers for this summer. They have been digging holes in the backyard and informing us that they are digging holes for my flowers. So, I let them pick out a flower and they got it for me. It is sitting in our kitchen window so that when the sun decides to come out it can get some.

Hard At Work

I spent the boys' nap time today trying to make a few item. They didn't turn out half bad and Michael was nice enough to model the gift for Isa for me. With the birth of baby Kai getting closer I needed to get them done while I had the chance. First up is sling for the new big sis. This way she can be just like mama while she totes around her own baby. And look at all the woof woofs. Isa is going to love it.

What a lovely model I have.

Motorcycle

Our neighbors were cleaning out their garage today and offered us some new toys for the boys. This one happens to be their favorite. Don't know why that is. I would never want to ride around on a toy that all I had to do was push a button and it went :o) They sure do enjoy it.

Casey having some fun.

Michael seems to enjoy it the most. Look at that little rebel.

Party

Michael had so much fun with his aunts, uncles, cousins and grandma and grandpa bender.
Here he is with his rocket ship cake. He got lots of fun gifts. Grandma Cindy took him bowling. Auntie Coley, Uncle Mark and Isa got him a gone fishin game. Uncle Ben, Aunt Betsy and Emma got him a spiderman shirt. Casey and Peyton got him two books. Mommy and Daddy got him an alphabet game for his leapster. Lucky little man.

The Birthday Present

Since we have not be able to hold the family get togethers on their birthdays, I try to make sure that they have one gift to open. Here is what Michael got. Daddy picked it out of course.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAEL

Happy 4th birthday Michael. We love you.

Hard to believe that it has already been that long.

Mommy, Wow...

I'M A BIG BOY NOW :o)
In real big boy underwear for a week (not the extra padded cloth trainers) and no accidents. I am so proud of you Casey. Now you can wear the pirates underwear that Grandma and Grandpa Rutter got you for Christmas.

Snowboarder

I think we might have a future snowboarder on our hands. For the last couple of years. Brian and I have dubbed Casey as the "skateboarder" in the family. Of the three boys he is the only one that can pull off the skateboarder/snowboarder look. And after watching some winter sporting events with Daddy has informed us that he wants to snowboard when he grows up.

What do you think??

I Can Not Believe It!!

In the words of my son Michael, I can not believe it. That is exactly what I thought when I went to check on my two sweet angels. They were supposed to be taking a nap. What did I find when I entered their room? Nothing but a flattened Eubie. This poor higglytown hero. I don't know what he did wrong but whatever it was I don't believe he deserved this. At least he can smile at the situation. Mommy on the other hand was not at all pleased. This is the third time this has happened.

On a happier note, my family has learned the name of our nephew, due in May. Since, I guessed his name that means that I get to be the first person (other then mommy, daddy, and big sis) to hold the little guy after he is born. I can't wait to meet you Kaiden (aka Kai). The ai is pronounced as the long I. Isa has been getting a lot of practice with babies, thanks to Peyton. She is going to be a wonderful and very helpful big sis.

Movie Monday

This is video of Michael (soon to be 4) crawling. I can't believe that Peyton will soon be mobile like this. What am I to do?

Flashback Friday

This picture was taken two years ago around Easter. Daddy had decided to wash our vehicles and of course he had one great helper, Casey.
